- Fitchburg State University second Faculty-Led Program. Emphasis: Global Public Health. Led by Professors Dr. Deborah Benes & Dr. Deborah Stone from the nursing school at FSU.
- Participating in the Canadian Business and International Education online event. A business rounds event to connect with Canadian academic institutions.
- Augustana University Environment, Culture, Education, Adventure Site Inspection Programs. Participating the president, professors, and the international office of AU.
- Participating in Eventtia an USA Embassy online event for the education sector. We were able to connect with institutions from the USA.
- Salisbury University sixth Faculty-Led Program. Emphasis: Entrepreneurship & Foreign Investment in Latin America, The case of Costa Rica. Led by Professor Dr. Patrick Fennell from the business school at SU.
- Participation in Costa Rica Services Summit by Procomer: Conferences, workshops, business rounds, and social events. We were able to connect with institutions from Canada, Europe, South America, Mexico, and the USA.
- Participation in EduCanada Online a business rounds event to connect with Canadian academic institutions.
- Salisbury University fifth Faculty-Led Program. Emphasis: Entrepreneurship & Foreign Investment in Latin America, The case of Costa Rica. Led by Professor Dr. Patrick Fennell from the business school at SU.
- A journey around the world started for AGLOCAM. In order to expand our organization we have decided to jump in a plane and start connecting to our potential clientes, our first stop The Netherlands.
- Fitchburg State University first Faculty-Led Program. Emphasis: Global Public Health. Led by Professors Dr. Deborah Benes & Dr. Deborah Stone from the nursing school at FSU.
- Fitchburg State University second Faculty-Led Program. Emphasis: Tropical Ecology. Led by Professor Dr. Christopher Picone from the biology school at FSU.
- On May 14th, 2019 AGLOCAM was awarded with the country brand certification Essential Costa Rica from the government organization Procomer. After a year of lots of work and changes in our organization and our minds the results were obtained!
- Salisbury University fourth Faculty-Led Program. Emphasis: Entrepreneurship & Foreign Investment in Latin America, The case of Costa Rica. Led by Professor Laura Anderson from the business school at SU.
- AGLOCAM decided to get the Essential Costa Rica country brand certification through Procomer. The process to get the certification started. Lots of internal work to do, new knowledge acquired that helps the organization to improve every single detail.
- Salisbury University third Faculty-Led Program. Emphasis: Entrepreneurship & Foreign Investment in Latin America, The case of Costa Rica. Led by Professors Laura Anderson & Silvana Chambers from the business school at SU.
- We welcomed 2 more interns of the Professional Internship Program from Washington & Jefferson College.
- Participation in the Business Competition of the Perdue Business School at Salisbury University.

In April 2017 AGLOCAM made history in Salisbury University, MD USA, winning 2nd place in the Gull Cage Competition and 4th in the Bernstein Competition at the Perdue School of Business in Salisbury University, MD; USA.
It was a life changing experience for everyone involved!

Stefanny Castro felt like home at your beautiful city and school! - AGLOCAM sponsored the first Aerial Dance Show in San Carlos, given completely for free to the community. Thanks to the creation of Grupo Pirueta in 2016 by Stefanny Castro (AGLOCAM’s CEO & Aerial Dance Instructor) the community of San Carlos wa able to enjoy and appreciate what aerial dance means and has to offer. More than 450 people attended to the event, including local TV News.
- Participation in the Costa Rican business competition Yo Emprendedor. During 5 months AGLOCAM participated in the Yo Emprendedor business competition, being able to participate in the final stage. Out of 60 different companies/business ideas AGLOCAM was positioned very well in the final stage with the last 20 participants. A full process that included training on the marketing, human talent and finance areas.
- Salisbury University First Faculty-Led Program; developed in collaboration with ULACIT. Emphasis: Entrepreneurship, Ecotourism and Foreign Investment. Led by Professors Laura Anderson & Professor Silvana Chambers from the business school at SU.
- Wisconsin University Faculty-Led Program; developed in collaboration with ULACIT. Emphasis: Entrepreneurship, Economy, Business, Ecotourism, Trade Zones and Foreign Investment.
- Participation in Nafsa Conference 2015 in Boston, Massachusets Association of International Educators.
- AGLOCAM was able to attend the annual conference of NAFSA. This association is a nonprofit organization for professionals in all areas of international education. Thanks to this conference we made connections with other universities across the U.S. and we were able to connect with institutions around the world. This conference offered a valuable lesson on the importance of communication and networking. We are dedicated to meeting our clients in person, in order to establish trust and comfort between our clients and AGLOCAM. The NAFSA conference really opened our eyes to the concerns and obstacles many institutions face while trying to send their students abroad. We plan to frequently attend this conference in order for us to continuously improve our company to benefit both students and their institutions.

- Partnership with ULACIT, Costa Rica. A great opportunity to work with the best private university in Costa Rica came to us.
- Cincinnati University Faculty-Led Program; developed in collaboration with ULACIT. Emphasis: Economy, Corporate Social Responsibility & Service Learning.
- Stefanny had always strived to create her own company. While on a Paragliding Tour she met an old friend whom she would end up partnering with. After months of collaboration and networking AGLOCAM was born.
The Aglocam Team
Is the Founder and CEO at AGLOCAM. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Tourism from Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica and an associate’s degree in Tourist Enterprises & Activities from Cartago Community College. Ten years before AGLOCAM started, she developed her professional career in the tourism sector through private companies ranging from hotels, travel agencies and tour operators. Her education and passion towards sustainable development and transformational learning led her to international education, specifically oriented to promoting global consciousness and a call-to-action.
She’s also an Aerial Artistry Performer, Yoga, SUPYoga, Aerial Dance & Sound Healing Certified Instructor & Therapist. She’s a passionate artist and traveler, who loves nature, adventure, music, good food and drink, languages, cultures, yoga, and aerial dance. She focuses her efforts on empowering others and feels complete when walking in nature, sharing with a good friend, and indulging in body art. She has always encouraged people to develop leadership and effective communication skills as well as enthusiasm to discover the wonders of life and our planet.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica, and an International 2nd dan Black Belt Degree from World Tang Soo Do Association. +18 years of experience in the Software Development industry and +15 years in self-defense area.
During his academic and professional career he has traveled to different areas in the United States to visit clients, startup projects and ideas. Always offering innovative solutions and bringing back to the country great knowledge to share.
He is very straightforward, likes to talk about solutions and goes directly to the point. Looks like an Orc but he is nice, friendly and loves to smile. He loves to cook, watch anime, play board/video games, explore nature, practice sports, teach, visual design, philosophy. Cheese and Beers!
Holds a master’s degree in teaching English as a foreign language with a concentration in ESP (English for specific purposes), and a postgraduate degree in Marketing. Currently taking Forum’s professional certification in education abroad and competency program and an international certification in digital marketing.
Has recently participated as a conference presenter in 2015 & 2017 HACU International Conferences, 2019 HEP Conference, co-author for conference presentations in topics related to International Education at PSHA 2019 and ASHA 2019. She has also attended several national and international seminars, symposiums and conferences in Costa Rica, Mexico, Canada, Peru and the United States.

She’s from Aguas Zarcas, San Carlos, Costa Rica; born and raised in that town where she currently lives. She’s married and has a 14-year-old daughter.
She started her university studies at Universidad Técnica Nacional, where she graduated with a diploma in Accounting and Finance. Later, she graduated from the University of San José, in the Business Administration career with an emphasis in Public Accounting, and in 2014 she joined the College of Private Accountants of Costa Rica.
She started her professional career in 2008 working in an accounting office as an accounting assistant. After a few years, she was promoted to company accountant, until she decided to have her own accounting office, where she has been practicing and working independently for almost 3 years.
In her personal life, she considers herself an honest and fair person, very orderly and quite a planner, dedicated not only to work, but also to her family. She loves to go for walks and explore places, mainly those related to nature. In her free time, she likes to work on her physical health, she practices running and spinning, and as for my mental health, she has a succulent greenhouse at home, which is the place where she forgets everything and relaxes working and devoting time to her plants.
Environnemental management engineering and business management Student, she is 22 years old and has worked on Amazon disability and leave services as well as a season with AGLOCAM working alongside nursing students, interpreting for them and collaborating on providing the best caring for the patients. Nature and travel enthusiastic, loves her dog Mocci and to interact with people from all around the world. She's always open to learning new things. And is a mental health advocate.
